http://danieltenner.com/posts/0007-dealing-with-impossible-crises.html Dealing with impossible crises sounds like the perfect advice we can always keep applying in our life situations, as we always run into situations which we don't control...

"Now when I run against so-called impossible tasks, the mantra I usually repeat to myself is: “There are very few things that are truly impossible. This is not one of them.” "

Europe Trip While going through Anil Dash blog, came across this useful links for advice on travel to europe.

Cameron Marlow on planning a trip to Europe:

Going to Europe in the summer is about as much as you can ask for out of travel. Most people will tell you to stay away during the tourist season, but if you want to be there when the weather is great, you’ll have to put up with some other Americans making you want to wear a Canadian flag pin.

And Nelson Minar on renting an apartment in Paris:

If you're going to stay in Paris for a week or more, consider renting an apartment. Particularly if you're traveling in a group that would benefit from 2-3 bedrooms. Apartments are generally cheaper than hotels and integrate you more into the day to day life of the city.

Doodle Everybody knows the frustration in trying to get best date and time to schedule a meeting/event thats convenient for every one in the group. Doodle, a web based tool, solves this problem by letting you define a set of date and time and asking your group to poll on it. Based on the result one can choose the convenient date and time. Best part is, authentication/registration is needed. A very neat idea by Michael Näf

  Interview Q

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Did you say, Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?

Wrong Answer.

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend.... except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put him in there. This tests your memory.

Okay, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is used by crocodiles, and you do not have a boat. How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been listening? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.
